Matt's
Story
Back
in 1986, I was a very unhappy camper. Lost, naive, angry, low self-worth,
depressed... you name it... I was a mess. I was
married
and making decent money, but I was thoroughly unhappy and unsatisfied.
My life was NOT working and I didn't know what to do about it.
Then, a good friend noticed my pain, and introduced me to a weekend "personal growth" class
that had fundamentally changed her life. I learned about the
power of my feelings, the
freedom and control that comes from taking personal responsibility
for my life and the joy of working with others to help them with
their lives.
I asked for help and I got it. From my new-found wisdom, I made
some big changes in my life. I decided at that point to dedicate
myself to learning
as much
as I could
about how I work, how humans work, what makes us happy and feel
in control of our lives, and what stops us from realizing our
potential
and our dreams.
Since then, I've worked
with thousands of
individuals and families
to help them live
healthier, happier lives.
We've found some basic
ways to heal and grow
that really work. Many of the concepts are simple and straight-forward.
They can be practiced at home, at work and in our families. They
really make our lives worth living.

our not-for-profit
